v0.0.2 Update Released
Hi all~! This is a substantial QoL improvement to CART, but sadly there isn't much new content for those of you who have already cruised through it all - so if you're looking for some new puzzles to get stuck into, hold off for now. I wanted to get this out first and will be looking into making some cool new levels next, so stay tuned!
v0.0.2
Major Features
- Added level saving (feel free to exit and come back later to improve your level!)
- Added feedback button (please use this!)
- Added cool flattened grass and little swaying grass blades!
- Added new input options (more mouse selection, buttons for auto-stepping level)
- Added some stars to level select to help show when you've completed the level well
Minor Features
- Added a single new level (3B) to help tutorialise a smidge better
- Added more juice to main menu
- Added level fade ins/outs
- Added more VFX/SFX across the board
- Vastly improved track and cart spawn and removal effects
- Added some more clarity to outputs accepting carts
- Added a clear stage button
- Added a cheat button to the menu for unlocking all levels
- Added custom splash
- Added custom mouse cursor
- Edited outputs so their requirements can be rotated (and have rotated them on some levels)
Bug Fixes
- Fixed some sprite rendering orders for carts, tracks, indicators, and shadows (things should mostly be drawing correctly now!)
- Fixed some sporadic crashes where duped carts were instantly crashing into each other
- Fixed screen flashing the wrong position on the level select
- Fixed 3-way tiles missing sprite details
- Added 3-way halts that didn't exist because I forgot them
- Fixed reset functionality to work correctly with cheat solves
- Fixed splits and dupes having odd functionality when used in unintended ways (they should now be fairly safe)
